Health Screenings
Throughout the year, the Richland Public Health offers health screenings throughout Richland County for child and adult vaccinations (Neighborhood Immunization Clinics) and regular health checkups for the entire family (Community Health Screenings). Community Health Screenings
Community Health Screenings are FREE health assessments performed by Richland Public Health nurses. Screenings are available for all ages and for all Richland County residents. There are multiple screening locations throughout Richland County for your convenience. Community Health Screenings are funded through local tax dollars. CLICK HERE to see the schedule.
Community Health Screenings include the following
- Blood Pressure Screening — FREE
- Hemoglobin plus Hematocrit* Screening — FREE
- Weight Check — FREE
- Blood Sugar Screening (requires 3-hour fast) — FREE
- Cholesterol Screenings (requires 9-12-hour fast) — $12 charge (cash or check only).
*Hemoglobin and Hematocrit test for Anemia, which is a condition resulting in having not enough red blood cells.
