World AIDS Day Remembrance

November 11, 2011

December 1, 2011 marks the 23rd anniversary of World AIDS Day.

While much progress has been made since 1988, there is still much to be done. Despite the silence, HIV has not gone away; in fact, the virus continues to spread to a greater number of people, especially our younger population.

The public is invited to join the North Central Ohio AIDS Foundation for the annual World AIDS Day Remembrance. This celebration honors those whose lives have been and continue to be touched by HIV/AIDS. The Remembrance will be at 7 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 200 W. Third St., in Mansfield.

Refreshments and a time of fellowship will follow the service.
