Environmental Health Division

The Environmental Health Services division directs a variety of programs that educate our community about and prevent exposure to and/or protect the public from adverse effects of potentially harmful elements in our environment.

Health Promotion/Education

Health Promotion and Education is an informational link to the community and the media. Services include programs on risk reduction and healthy lifestyles, health screenings for public and private employees, resource materials on health topics.

Public Health Clinic

The Mansfield/Ontario/Richland County Health Department provides health services for people of all ages who are residents of Richland County. The Public Health Clinic has a full time medical doctor as well as a nurse practitioner.

Public Health Nursing

In the Community with Shots & Screenings from the Health Department. The Mansfield/Ontario/Richland County Health Department provides health services for people of all ages who are residents of Richland County.

Vital Statistics

The Vital Statistics division at the Mansfield/Ontario/Richland County Health Department maintains records of all births and deaths in Richland County since 1909 (excluding Shelby).

WIC

WIC is a nutrition education program. WIC provides nutritious foods, help in finding health care, voter registration, and farmer's market coupons for fresh fruits and vegetables.

We can bill Medicare and Medicaid for your approved medical services. Our medical clinic services are available on a sliding fee scale based on your income. These sliding fee clinic services are provided using levy tax dollars.
